The Above Header widget area in Elegance was designed for two purposes.
- To provide a way for you to add a custom color to the top of your website
- To provide an announcement bar to make sure your visitors don’t miss an important notice.
If you would like to have a very white canvas for your website you can leave this widget area empty and nothing will display.
If you would like to have a color at the top but no announcement you would add a blank text widget to the Above Header widget area and save.
If you would like to change the color from the default black, you can edit the primary color in the Appearance > customizer > color options.
This widget area is styled for a text widget or a Genesis eNews widget.
